Applying for an adult library card
  
All individuals who live in Virginia are eligible for a Portsmouth
Public Library card.  (Click here for ordinance)

To apply for a card you need:

2 Forms of Identification
* Photo identification
* Proof of current address
* A completed registration form or you can fill out the registration form at the library. There is a $2 replacement card fee.  You may download your registration forms here:

Juvenile Library Card Registration Form
