Biography Resource Center - provides full text articles from hundreds of periodicals and reference works. Contains biographies of 320,000 people from around the world and throughout history. Search for people by name nationality, occupation, gender or birth year.

eLibrary  - Full-text magazines, newspapers, pictures, maps, and TV & Radio transcripts. Includes the Richmond Times-Dispatch, Roanoke Times & World News, Washington Post, Washington Times and more.

Educator's Reference Desk - Formerly Ask Eric, this site contains links to over 3,000 resources on a variety of educational issues, including Internet sites, educational organizations, and electronic discussion groups. There are also lesson plans written and submitted by teachers from the US, and a question archive.
