"Reading Around Portsmouth" 

Celebrate Children's Book Week with us!  We want young people ages 5 through 13 to take part in our photo contest "Reading Around Portsmouth!"  Take a picture of something that says to you "Reading around Portsmouth" and submit it to any of the Portsmouth Libraries.  The Library's panel of judges will choose the best photos on May 12th, and winning photos will be posted on our website! All entries will be displayed at the Main Library from May 12th - 18th, and if you want your photos back you can pick up them up at the Main Library from May 19th through the 31st.  Join the fun!

When?

• Photos may be submitted to any of our Portsmouth Libraries April 15th through May 8th.  Winners will be chosen on May 12th.

• Photos must be between a standard 4" x 6" size and an 8.5" x 11" letter size

• Please write your name on the back of your photo!

• You may submit a developed photo or one printed on your home printer if you have a digital camera and printer.

Rules:

• Each participant must take the photo they submit themselves
