PORTSMOUTH PUBLIC LIBRARY AND THE CHILDREN'S MUSEUM OF VIRGINIA HAVE TEAMED UP TO PROVIDE LIBRARY 
PATRONS FREE ADMISSION!

Portsmouth Public Library now has museum passes for the Children's Museum of Virginia in Olde Towne Portsmouth.

Patrons MUST pick up a physical pass at the branch BEFORE attempting to reserve tickets online.

Each branch has two designated passes but they may be be transferred to another branch by placing a hold in the online VERSO catalog.

After picking up the pass, please visit this link and reserve up to 4 tickets under the Library Pass Program section. When prompted, you will enter the Reservation ID shown on the physical museum pass.

Upon arriving at the ticketing desk of the museum you must show your valid photo ID and your valid Portsmouth Public Library card, 

• The museum pass may only by used ONCE per library patron per calendar year.
• The museum pass may not be checked out on a juvenile (under 18) library card.
• The museum pass checkout period is 14 days.
• The museum pass CANNOT be renewed and will accrue a late fee of $0.20 per day overdue.
